Each spring Ragco awards the Braddy Scholarship to a child or grandchild of a Ragco employee who is entering higher education, honoring the memory of Brad Dunphy of Acadiana Rubber & Gasket, who passed away in 2013. The scholarship supports students pursuing college, trade, or technical programs and reflects Brad’s lasting commitment to family, education, and the strong values he brought to the industry throughout his career. Selection prioritizes demonstrated academic potential, meaningful community involvement, and the applicant’s personal connection to the Ragco family, with the goal of easing the financial burden of continuing education and investing in the next generation of skilled and dedicated industry professionals.
